Welcome to Let’s Carpool! We’re thrilled to have you join a community built on trust, kindness, and shared experiences. Whether you’re driving to a concert, a game, a celebration, or a museum—you’re not just sharing a ride. You’re making someone’s day better.

To keep this community safe, positive, and enjoyable for everyone, every user is expected to follow this simple pledge:

I Pledge to Ride with Respect

I will treat every rider and driver with kindness and courtesy.
I will honor people’s time, space, and preferences.
I will keep the car a respectful environment—free from offensive behavior, strong language, or inappropriate conduct.

I Pledge to Help Keep Our Community Safe

I will only carpool with Self-Verified Connections.
I will never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
I will make sure my vehicle is roadworthy, insured, and legal.
I will not bring dangerous items, prohibited substances, or surprise guests.

I Pledge to Communicate Honestly

I will provide accurate pickup times, destinations, and seat availability.
I will show up on time—or let others know if something changes.
I will respect people’s privacy, and never record or photograph others without their consent.

I will never use Let’s Carpool as a paid rideshare service.
I will only request fair contributions for actual expenses like gas, tolls, and parking.
I will use the built-in Wallet feature to keep things transparent and easy.

I Pledge to Foster a Friendly and Inclusive Community

I will not tolerate or engage in harassment, discrimination, or unwanted advances.
I will make everyone feel welcome—regardless of age, background, gender, or beliefs.
I will report any inappropriate behavior to the Let’s Carpool team to help protect others.

I Pledge to Respect Boundaries and Privacy

I will not pressure anyone to join a ride or group.
I will not share someone else’s personal information without consent.
I will not make unwanted contact with users outside the platform.

I Pledge to Take Responsibility for My Safety

I understand that I am solely responsible for verifying the identity, safety, and trustworthiness of anyone I choose to connect with or ride with.
I understand that Let’s Carpool does not verify, investigate, or conduct background checks on any users.
I will only connect with people I personally know and trust, or who have been introduced to me through trusted channels that I have independently verified.
I will use my best judgment and take personal responsibility for my safety decisions when carpooling.
I will never get in a car with someone I don’t feel completely comfortable with.

By using Let’s Carpool, I agree to uphold this pledge—and to help create a community where getting there is just as meaningful as the event itself.
